 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and also in other starring roles including as Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013, as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 until 2021, as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the NCIS series. NCIS. Bello was born April 18 1967 in Norristown (PA) in the United States to Kathy who was a teacher and school nurse, as well as Joe Bello. She also appeared on the series Touch (1997-1998). Bello has other starring roles including Michelle McBride in the year 2016 as well as Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane from 2017 to 2021. She studied political sciences at Villanova University. Bello trained her acting skills in a variety of New York theater productions following her graduation. Bello has her son Jackson with her former boyfriend Dan McDermott. In November 2013 Bello wrote about her first partner Clare Munn's relationship with a same-sex partner. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the Labels we Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28, 2015).
