Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born on March 4, 1954 is an actress from Canada. O'Hara has been awarded a range of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was appointed to the rank of an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara became famous as an actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Toronto. She was part of the main ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. The following year, O'Hara and Candy began work on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned critical acclaim for both her work as a comic actress as well as a writer, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for an Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was included in the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board that was headed by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
